I woke up this morning incredibly happy and well-feeling. And tired. I'm still tired, still happy. Yesterday I had a couple of contractions so strong I couldn't inhale but I'm not in pain or even much discomfort, and the demon voices appear to have gone on a coffee break, so I'm ok.
I could have four more weeks of this. We must remember not to get overexcited. And I am going to completely give up on housework of any kind, really, because I am so so tired.
Strawberries and cream with black coffee in the garden by the opening jasmine flowers it is, then! It's a tough life, but someone has to do it...

Date: 2010-06-28 11:31 pm (UTC)A startling amount of obstetric and standardised midwifery practice is not actually evidence-based but common-sense and it-stands-to-reason based (and of course once you *start* doing things a certain way it becomes very difficult to gather data on alternative ways, especially if common-sense tells you that the standardised way prevents risks of various kinds).
