Slightly stupid things I did today include weeding, rushing around to get the bins out when they aren't being collected until tomorrow because of the bank holiday, and thinking the children would be available to eat any proper meals at all on a sunny day like this.
But the peas are making little flowers and casting tendrils out looking for things to climb, so I shall have to find them some sticks. And the potatoes are looking very healthy indeed. And there's a frighteningly large amount of laundry in process. And the new table and parasol are fabulous; they make a serious area of usable shade. Linnea spent a while doing division (dividing by zero is apparently really, really funny) because it was so pleasant out there that she wanted to find Something To Do At The Table.
The sandpit is full of building blocks. I'm very glad I brought those out instead of the cuisenaire rods.
Emer has a thing going on about triangles and semicircles at the moment, but I don't understand what it is.

My first total guess would be that she's observing that she can sometimes inscribe a triangle in a semicircle with the triangle's longest side coinciding with the diameter (in fact, she can do this iff the triangle is right-angled) - but of course this is probably wildly off. It's the kind of thing some young children notice, though.
