Oh god the pain
Mar. 7th, 2008 09:15 amMy neck and shoulders are defaulting to rigid. This is not compatible with two small children. I really, really need a neck-rub but Rob can't tell which bits are muscle and anyway his hands get tired very, very fast. I've been trying to do my own but that hurts too.
Ho hum.
Also, I really, really need to get Emer into her own bed; gradually Rob's been getting back to the idea that it's ok to walk her to sleep in the buggy and that makes my life really, really hard. If she had her own bed at least I wouldn't end up quite so bruised. I hate being punched awake by little baby fists on my nose and eyelids, though I do concede that it's effective.
In better news, an undrugged Rob is much easier to wake up, whether in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning, though he still can't hear a baby crying in his sleep.
